HP Performance Shipping and Return Policy

WARRANTY

All HP turbo kits have a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase on all parts, materials and workmanship built by HP.  Parts supplied by other vendors, such as turbos, waste gates, etc., are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.  Headers and all tubing components have a lifetime warranty, limited to the original owner on the vehicle on which the components were originally installed.  Said warranty covers cracking or rust-through only and does not cover cosmetic rust or discoloration of material.  Said warranty becomes void if the component shows evidence of bending or mutilating of parts or burnout resulting from improper tuning.    Ceramic coatings have a 3-year warranty.  Warranties do not cover consequential damages or components that have been abused or improperly installed.  Warranties are not transferrable.  This warranty is limited at HP's option, to the replacement, repair, or credit of the defective merchandise. This warranty does not cover any direct or indirect costs, such as labor, arising from the use of products.  A return authorization is required for all warranty returns.

SHIPPING POLICY

All shipments are made by Fed Ex, UPS or other carrier.  All shipments are made at ground shipment rates.  2nd Day and next day delivery and can be quoted at time of ordering.  HP Performance assumes no liability for shipping damage.  Damage to the product caused by shipping or broken packages must be noted at the time of receipt and reported immediately to the shipper.  Assistance will be given where necessary to help in settlement with the carrier.

RETURN POLICY

All part and component returns require a Return Authorization.  No returns will be accepted without a prior Return Authorization.  Returns must be shipped prepaid.  You can obtain the Return Authorization by contacting us.  There is a 25% restocking charge for returned parts and components when returned in unused and undamaged condition within 30 days.  There are no refunds or returns on kits or special order items.  There is no charge on warranty returns.

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders cancelled within 5 business days after the order date will incur no cancellation fee, but will be subject to applicable cancellation expenses.  Orders cancelled more than 5 business days after the order date will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total kit price plus applicable cancellation expenses.  Orders cancelled on or after shipment notification will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total kit price plus applicable cancellation expenses.  There are no refunds or cancellation on special order items.  Cancellation expenses include, but are not limited to, credit card transaction fees, special shipping arrangements, special order parts or customized parts.  Cancelled order net funds will be returned to customer within 30 business days of notice of cancellation or of the kit being received and inventoried by HP Performance.  Customer will be charged normal retail price for any missing, damaged or used parts and these charges will be deducted from the refund.  No exceptions will be made to this policy under any circumstances.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

Performance modifications, by their very nature, are normally used to increase performance levels and can create additional risk of failure of various factory components.  Customers purchasing or installing performance modifications on their vehicles accept and assume this risk completely.  HP Performance does not assume any liability whatsoever for damage or other loss or expense in connection with the customers' use of performance parts purchased by the customer or installed by HP Performance.  HP Performance turbo kits and other parts sold for racing or competition are warranted against manufacturers' defects only. They are not warranted for wear or breakage under any circumstances other than those listed in a written warranty issued by HP Performance or other manufacturers of components supplied in systems sold by or through HP Performance.  Any part which, in the sole opinion of HP Performance, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund or warranty consideration.  HP Performance shall have no liability to anyone for incidental or consequential damages or any other liability, loss or damage arising out of or related to the merchandise, even if HP Performance or any authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages.  HP Performance, their agents, employees or owners shall not be under any liability, whether in contract or otherwise, whether or not resulting from negligence, failure to provide information or from the contents of information supplied for any damage or loss resulting from such information, nor be under any liability for damage, loss, or expense resulting from failure to give advice or information or giving the incorrect advice or information whether or not due to our negligence or that of employees of HP Performance.  HP Performance makes no warranty as to the performance of any merchandise sold.  HP Performance is not responsible for downtime, additional labor costs or any other damages. This disclaimer by HP Performance in no way affects the terms of a manufacturer's warranty, if any.
